"Garlic bread is a favorite that everyone always loves. This version is the cheesy one, and it's guaranteed to please everyone. I've made a few different ones I like this one a lot, you can use all olive oil instead of the butter/oil mixture"

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Peel all the garlic cloves.

Step 2

Add garlic, parsley 1/3 cup plus 2 tablespoons olive oil and 1/3 cup plus 2 tablespoons melted butter to a food processor or blender and process until combined.

Step 3

Slice (split) your Italian bread loaf in half (lengthwise).

Step 4

Spoon on your garlic oil mixture on your bread ensuring it's all covered.

Step 5

Season with salt and pepper.

Step 6

Wrap in foil and bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes at 200ºC or 400ºF.

Step 7

Remove bread from oven, unwrap from foil, cut it half so it's in two pieces and sprinkle on the grated mozzarella cheese.

Step 8

Top with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.

Step 9

Bake in oven on a baking sheet for a further 15 minutes or until cheese is brown at 200ºC or 400ºF .
