"This may surprise you it is so darn good. Freeze from 30 minutes up to 2 hours. The chill time is not included in the prep time. I get rave reviews when I serve it. What could be simpler? I like to use an Italian dressing."

Bergy, I love your approach to the basic vegetable! Healthy yet tasty. I really enjoyed this recipe. I'd like to try it with small sections of lettuce on a toothpick and served with various dipping dressings, kinda like an appetizer! Thanks

Bergy, I "accidently" made this a few weeks before you posted the recipe. I didn't open my fridge for a few days and when I did, I found a frozen head of lettuce(among other things). I knew that if I let the lettuce thaw I might as well go ahead and toss it. Instead, I put ranch dressing on it, and it was delicious. Who would have ever thought this would be so good!!!

OH YUM!!! This is a great way to enjoy Iceberg lettuce. The dressing drips into the frozen lettuce crevices and makes for a great tasting side dish. This will be made often here.

This salad is very reminiscent to a Wedge Salad ordered at a colonial style restaurant in my area. It is so very pleasing. I made a batch of "Kittencal's Creamy Greek Salad Dressing" found in this website and it went very well. My family truly enjoyed this wonderful salad. Next time I make steak this salad will surely be made again as it would pare really well. Thank you Bergy for sharing!
