"Who doesn't love a nice glass of lemonade. I know I do, especially when it's hot and I want to quench my thirst. What I love about this lemonade it that it can be adjusted to the sweetness you like, by the amount of water you use. Some like it sweeter and others, like me, like it a little less sweet. No matter how you like it this will wet your whistle and having you singing a very happy tune at the same time. Sometimes I use the mint, but most of the time I leave it out. Both ways are great... Enjoy!"

Step by Step Method
Step 1
In a medium-size pan combine 2 1/2 cups water and sugar, and cook over medium heat. Stir until sugar has dissolved and then simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, and cool about 20 minutes.
Step 2
Add the juices to the sugar syrup, then pour lemon-lime mixture into a large container with a lid. If using mint, place leaves in the container and push leaves down into the mix with a large spoon, and allow to steep for 1 hour, then strain mixture, and store until ready to serve. If not using mint, refrigerate.
Step 3
When ready to serve, mix the lemonade syrup with 6-8 cups of cold water. Start with 6 cups and then adjust the water according to your taste. (6 cups will be very sweet and 8 cups will be quite mild in flavor and sweetness).
