"I do have one Fig and prosciutto salad already posted on RecipeZazz; but, this salad is a bit different; yet equally as good - but, a bit simpler. A perfect salad to make when fresh figs are in season. Just a few simple ingredients."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Salad ... Add the mixed greens (seasoned with a bit of salt and pepper) to a salad plate or bowl; top with the figs, melon, and prosciutto. Simply drizzle the balsamic vinegar, and oil over the top. Finish with salt and pepper.
Step 2
Serve ... It's such a simple salad; yet, so good. Takes 5 minutes to prepare; and absolutely delicious and elegant. ENJOY!
Step 3
You could always add blue cheese, gorgonzola, goat cheese; or even toasted nuts too. But, I prefer to just enjoy it as is. Delicious and very fresh!
