Step by Step Method
Step 1
Fennel and Garlic ... Add the butter and olive oil to a saute pan and bring to medium heat. Add the fennel, onion, garlic, and red chili, saute until mixed through and slightly tender stirring often, 3-4 minutes - you don't want the garlic to burn.
Step 2
Beans ... Add the beans, a pinch of both salt and pepper, and cook 5-7 minutes until everything is cooked and heated through. Also, make sure that the onion and fennel are tender.
Step 3
Finish and Serve ... Add the parsley, and season with any additional salt and pepper if necessary, toss to combine and serve. A simple, but delicious, side dish. ENJOY!
