I love both bacon and popcorn, so I thought this recipe would be perfect for my tastes. However, I wasn't crazy about the bacon grease on the popcorn, nor the bacon salt. I did love the popcorn in the lunchbag technique, though! Thank you.

I tried this because I actually had some bacon salt. I air-popped rather than microwave popped but that shouldn't make any difference. The bacon grease made it better, but the bacon salt was weird. Also probably would have been better if I'd used some fresh parmesan rather than the stuff in a jar.

DH gave me 10 thumbs up for this recipe. Its so easy with the paper bag, although I had to buy lunch bags for the method. I used extra fine cheese that I bought at the local Italian market. Asiago cheese would be good too. At least now I have a good supply of them. Next time I make it, he wants more cheese, but he loves cheese. Made for Billboard tag.
