Step by Step Method

Step 1

Remove a thin slice from the side of the egg, so the egg will not roll over; this will be the bottom of the mouse.

Step 2

Slice the salami down the middle.

Step 3

Cut 2 thin slices, lengthwise, from the inside of each salami half, this will be the tails.

Step 4

Cut the halves in two, this will be the ears.

Step 5

At the small part of the egg and in the center, cut a small slit, just big enough to insert the broccoli floret, this is the nose.

Step 6

Just above the nose, cut two holes for the raisins to be inserted, this will be the eyes.

Step 7

Starting at the smaller part of the egg, where the nose is, cut two slits on each side, 1/3 of the way down the egg and insert two triangular pieces of salami, this will be the ears.

Step 8

Slice cheese cube in half crosswise to form two cheese triangles, one for each mouse.

Step 9

Plate mice on a dark platform and decorate with cheese pieces and serve.
