"Yummy with a Capital Y, I used a homemade pound cake I have posted the recipe here, it's recipe 3444, Sara Lee makes a great frozen pound cake that I'm quite certain would work very well for this recipe. I really do love the simplicity of this it takes very little time with amazing results."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Using a potato masher, mash half (2 cups) of the strawberries. Stir in the remaining sliced strawberries and sugar; Mix well and chill 1 hour.

Step 2

Beat cream with powdered sugar and vanilla. Place 1-2 slices of pound cake on a serving plate, top with strawberry mixture and a dollop of cream. Serve immediately.
