Step by Step Method

Step 1

In a bowl combine flour with salt and pepper. then coat the pork with the flour.

Step 2

Stir the picante sauce, brown sugar and chopped apple in a medium bowl.

Step 3

Heat the oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork and cook for 6-8 minutes or until well browned on both sides. Pour off any fat.

Step 4

Pour the picante sauce mixture over the pork. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 20 minutes or until the pork is cooked through.

Step 5

Serve with rice or cooked noodle.

Delicious recipe. I love apple with pork, then add salsa and you have a wonderful combination. I cut the recipe back to one chop, followed the ingredients but because I had my oven on I baked the chop instead of frying it. 375f for 15 minutes. Perfect do again recipe 2 Dec 14 Made again and enjoyed just as much
