Vegetarian Option Substitute the ground turkey with extra-firm tofu crumbled and sautéed in olive oil, and replace the spaghetti sauce with a vegan marinara. Use vegan cheeses and egg substitute in the topping.

Mexican-Style Substitute the ground turkey with ground beef and replace the spaghetti sauce with a Mexican-style salsa. Top with a combination of Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese, and use a beaten egg as the binding agent. Serve with a dollop of sour cream and a sprinkle of cilantro.

Roasted Garlic Broccoli - Roasted garlic broccoli is the perfect accompaniment to this easy, quick ground turkey pie. The garlic and broccoli add a delicious flavor to the dish and the broccoli provides a great crunch. Roasting the broccoli in a bit of olive oil and garlic gives the broccoli a slight char that pairs perfectly with the turkey and cheese in the pie.

Creamy Mashed Potatoes: Creamy mashed potatoes are the perfect side dish to serve with this ground turkey pie. The creamy potatoes provide a creamy, comforting texture that pairs well with the savory flavors of the turkey and cheese in the pie.
