"Have made this with cooked turkey before, I think it's better though with the chicken but if you have lots of leftover turkey it will work for this recipe. Serve over rice, noodles, or in prebaked puff pastry shells."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Place butter and onion in a light greased 3 quart glass casserole dish. Cover and microwave 2-3 minutes or until tender. Stir in flour until smooth. Gradually stir in chicken broth and milk. Microwave 4-6 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes.

Step 2

Add peas and remaining ingredients. Cover and microwave 5-7 minutes or until bubbly. Stir once during cooking. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
