"My mother used to make a recipe using corn flakes called "Goofies", which I have posted. This is the same type of biscuit using chocolate chips. I made this for years for my children when they were younger, to take in their lunch box and as an after school snack. I found this recipe which is the same one I made for years from "Cadbury" and am posting it to try again soon."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Pre heat oven to a moderate oven 180°C

Step 2

Beat together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and beat well. Stir in flour and then the sultanas and chocolate.

Step 3

Drop a tablespoonful (I used a tablespoon and a bit) of the mixture into the cornflakes and roll to coat, (press cornflakes in ever so slightly as they tend to fall off whilst cooking).

Step 4

Place on a greased baking tray and repeat with remaining mixture.

Step 5

Bake for 15-20 minutes or until cooked.

Step 6

Cool on a wire rack.

Step 7

Store in an airtight container until required
