"Delicious, moist, tasty recipe. The cook time depends on the size of the roast. Mine was just over 4 pounds and it took 9 hours. Watch you don't over cook it. The recipe was originally from About.com Southern cooking by Diana Rattray. I made several changes to the recipe"

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Mix together the marmelade, soy, ketchup and garlic

Step 2

Brush the sauce all over the roast, place in slow cooker, pour in any remaining sauce, turn on low, cook for about 9 hours or until it is done but not over cooked

"Mmmmmm citrus!" was the comment when my son lifted the lid off the crock pot. This makes a fragrant pork roast that was wonderful served with roasted asparagus and rice to absorb the lovely cooking juices. We did add a bit more garlic to suit us. Bergy is correct - know your crock pot so that you don't overcook. Very nice and so easy - thanks Bergy!
