Creamy Corn Soup
"A last minute, incredibly easy soup you can whip together when you need something warm, creamy, and comforting. This is so good for something so laughably simple. The heavy cream is what makes it taste so rich and creamy, but there is really not a ton in there. Garnish as desired with crumbled bacon, shredded cheese, green onions, croutons, etc if you like or just eat it plain."

- 1 can (15 ounce) cream style corn
- 1/4 to 1/3 cup heavy cream (approximately)
- Seasoned salt (I used Lawry's, to taste, I add about 5-6 good shakes)
- Black pepper, to taste (lots)
What You Will Need
No special items needed.
Combine cream style corn and heavy cream in a small saucepan.
Add several shakes of seasoned salt and several hearty shakes or grinds of black pepper, the amount is entirely to taste.
Heat gently over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until heated through, about 5-10 minutes or so.
Taste for seasonings and adjust as needed.
Serve immediately, as is or garnish with crumbled cooked bacon, shredded cheese, green onion slices, or croutons, if desired.
NOTE: If you prefer, you may microwave this in a covered micro-safe glass bowl for a few minutes until heated through.
