Cream Cheese Cookies (Cut Out)
"These are great cookies. Good for cutouts for Christmas or other holidays, since they are easy to roll out and they taste great. Prep time does not include chilling time."
- 1 cup butter
- 1 (3 ounce) package of cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp vanilla (optional)
- 2 1/2 cups flour
What You Will Need
No special items needed.
Step 1
Cream butter and cream cheese and mix in sugar, egg yolk and vanilla. Add the flour and stir it in.
Step 2
Chill the dough for 2 hours or up to 24 hours.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Roll out the dough and cut out. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.
Step 4
After cookies have cooled, ice and decorate with your favorite icing.
