"We love variety when we do baked fish,this recipe from a local Community Cookbook is one of our favorites. Choose a medium family sized fish - make the dressing - stuff and bake. We usually go with salmon."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

In a large pan melt butter, lightly saute chopped celery, onion and green pepper

Step 2

In a large bowl add rest of ingredients

Step 3

Add the sauteed vegetables

Step 4

If desired salt, pepper and seasoning of choice inside and outside the fish

Step 5

Stuff, cover with foil sealing edges (I do a double foil wrap)

Step 6

Bake 45 to 60 minutes in 400 degrees oven (ovens vary I do mine at 350)

I made half a recipe for just my hubby and I while we were gone to our camp for the weekend. We both agree it's a great stuffing for haddock, which is what I used. I might try it on filet of sole or flounder too. It is so yummy! I did add some lemon on top right before we ate and it was a great idea!
