"I found this recipe in a cookbook titled " America's Favorite Brand Name One Dish Meals ". This recipe was also found on another online recipe site.I made the recipe the way it was written,but I must honestly tell you that I found it a bit on the bland side. If you make this and you too find it a bit bland, maybe add a bit of crushed red pepper flake or a dash or two of garlic powder.If you are against using prepacked foods then please don't make this recipe. Step by Step Method
Step 1
In a 3 quart round microwavable glass casserole dish, combine milk,water,and margarine. Microwave uncovered on high for 4 or 5 minutes,or until boiling.
Step 2
Gradually add the pasta while stirring.
Step 3
Stir in the contents of the seasoning packet,along with the chicken,frozen vegetables and basil.
Step 4
Microwave,uncovered at high for 7 minutes,after 7 minutes stir gently. Cover with plastic wrap and slightly vent,so steam can escape.
Step 5
Cook for 7 more minutes or until pasta is done.Sauce will be thin,but it will thicken upon standing.
Step 6
Let stand for 4 or 5 minutes or until it's as thick as you like.Stir before serving.
