"You can use two 19.5-ounce packages brownie mix prepared according to package directions in place of the first 8 ingredients, stir in chopped nuts then bake 350 degrees F for 25-30 minutes then proceed with marshmallows and frosting. This cake is very sweet! No mixer is required to make this all you need is a whisk! this cake is even better the next day so prepare a day in advance if desired "

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F, then set oven rack to second-lowest position.

Step 2

Grease and flour a 15 x 10-inch jellyroll pan.

Step 3

Whisk together melted butter and next 6 ingredients together in a large bowl until smooth and well combined.

Step 4

Stir in flour until smooth and combined, then mix in chopped pecans.

Step 5

Pour batter into sheet pan.

Step 6

Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.

Step 7

Meanwhile prepare the glaze by mixing all ingredients together until smooth and combined (the glaze must be drizzled onto the warm cake).

Step 8

Remove cake from oven then top warm cake evenly with marshmallows.

Step 9

Return to oven and bake 5 minutes.

Step 10

Drizzle Chocolate Frosting over warm cake.

Step 11

Cool completely.
