"This is a delicious and not overly sweet little cookie. The recipe makes a lot (6 dozen) and can be frozen for up to 2 months. I think I got this recipe at the Royal Winter Fair. On the recipe card it says "A product of out dairy farms". The baking time is for each batch of 1 dozen cookies."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325 Fahrenheit.

Step 2

Sift together flour and salt in a medium-sized bowl.

Step 3

Cream butter and gradually add in icing sugar and vanilla.

Step 4

Add chocolate chips and stir to evenly distribute.

Step 5

Form dough into 1" balls ;place on cookie sheet and flatten in to 2" rounds with bottom of glass dipped in flour.

Step 6

Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until just browned on edges.

I'm on a butter cookie kick (certainly not good for the waistline lol) anyway I made this and loved them, these morsels are melt-in-your-mouth buttery goodness!! just a great cookie, thanks for sharing this recipe recipe Dreamer!
