Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375F and grease a small casserole dish.

Step 2

In a pan, cook hamburger meat with onion and jalapeno pepper until beef is browned then add in garlic, cook 2-3 minutes. Drain, then add cumin, salt, and pepper.

Step 3

Line the bottom of your pan with whole green chiles (chop up extra green chiles for later).

Step 4

Layer meat over green chiles. Top with 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese and chopped green chiles.

Step 5

Whisk together eggs and milk, then add flour and mix well. Pour this mixture over dish. Topp with 1 cup cheddar cheese.

Step 6

Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.

Step 7

Serve right away while everything is hot and cheese is melted. Yum!
