Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza

"I actually haven't had this dough recipe in a very long time, so I think I liked it or why would I have saved it? The toppings are my new favorite way to order pizza! I have made corrections to this recipe.This recipe makes 4 pizzas."

This recipe did not turn out following the ingredients and directions list. I think the recipe author probably forgot to add the amount of water needed for the dough. I needed 2 cups of water to achieve to proper dough consistency. This makes enough.... Read more

  • DOUGH
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 teaspoons salt
  • 6 cups flour (all-purpose)
  • TOPPINGS
  • 4-5 cups ranch dressing
  • 4 cups chicken pieces (boneless, pre-cooked)
  • 4 cups mozzarella cheese
  • 4 cups bacon pieces (pre-cooked)
 

What You Will Need



  • Pizza pan or stone.
  How to Make
 
 

Step 1

Mix first three ingredients and let rest for 5 minutes

Step 2

Combine all of the ingredients and knead until smooth.

Step 3

Let rise for 1 hour at room temperature.

Step 4

Place in refrigerator for 12 hours.

Step 5

Remove from refrigerator and let dough warm up to room temperature, about 1 hour.

Step 6

Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees F

Step 7

Punch dough and pull it to desired size.

Step 8

Place baker’s parchment on pizza pan and add shapped dough.

Step 9

Add ranch dressing, then chicken, then sprinkle with cheese and bacon.

Step 10

Bake in oven for about 20 minutes or to desired doneness. Enjoy.

This recipe did not turn out following the ingredients and directions list. I think the recipe author probably forgot to add the amount of water needed for the dough. I needed 2 cups of water to achieve to proper dough consistency. This makes enough dough for 4 pizzas and the toppings was just enough for 1 pizza, but I doubled the cheese and there still wasn't enough. I did however enjoy this topping combination. Sorry this did not work for me. Made for the Billboard Recipe Tag Game.
