I needed some cream of mushroom soup for a recipe and I was lucky enough to find this ahead of time. I am trying to cut corners with salt and fat whenever I can. I whipped some up and voila, I was able to complete my casserole. I look forward to trying it with chicken too.

This is the best! It is low in sodium and fat and tastes good too. I use this substitute in all my recipes that call for a can of cream soup. If I need a can of cream of celery, I just chop a bit of celery to add to it. It is so much better than the canned stuff. Thanks for posting this recipe, Kitten!
