"This started out as I want a low calorie cabbage soup but also need some protein, so I started to play with it and if I do say so myself, the result is awesome! I always shake a couple dallops of louisiana hot sauce into my soups. Please feel free to add more veggies or omit any that you don't care for."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Dice bell pepper, onion and garlic clove. Brown ground chuck with these vegetables in a dutch oven. Drain grease.

Step 2

Meanwhile, chop the rest of veggies.

Step 3

Add all ingredients including the browned ground beef and veggies to the dutch oven. Simmer until veggies are tender crisp. (about 30 minutes).

Step 4

I add louisiana hot sauce to my bowl. Serve and enjoy!
