Step by Step Method
Step 1
Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy (3 minutes, no less or cookies will be flat). Add eggs, melted chocolate, vanilla and combine thoroughly.
Step 2
Sift together the dry ingredients (RESERVE 1/4 cup flour mixture) add remaining ingredients to the butter mixture mix until combined.
Step 3
Stir in the pecans into the reserved 1/4 cup of flour mixture and then mix this into the rest of the cookie mixture.
Step 4
Drop by large tablespoonfuls onto lightly greased baking Bake in a 350°F preheated oven for 12 minutes or until done. Remove to cooling rack at once.
