"Lovely moist burger originally from "Kraft What's Cooking" Recipes with minor changes by me.. You may BBQ the burgers & veggies over medium-high heat or pan fry as I have done in this recipe"

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Mix together the ground meat, crumbs, egg & 2 tablespoons BBQ sauce
Step 2
Form into 4 half inch patties
Step 3
Pan fry in a large skillet over medium -high heat along with the pepper strips & onion slices (use two skillets if necessary). Apprx. 5 minutes each side (or internal temp reaches 160)
Step 4
While they are cooking brush the burgers & veggies with the remaining BBQ sauce.
Step 5
When ready the veggies should be slightly soft but still have some crunch.
Step 6
Place cheese on the burgers 1-2 minutes before they are done to allow it to melt
Step 7
Spread the toasted buns with mayo add a burger, lettuce, onion slice & pepper strip
Step 8
