Step by Step Method

Step 1

In a saucepan, mix blueberries and water. Boil gently for 15 minutes. Press mixture through a fine strainer. Pour into a bowl and chill.

Step 2

Beat eggs into blueberry puree until smooth.

Step 3

Beat in sugar, vanilla and nutmeg.

Step 4

Gradually beat in heavy cream and brandy.

Step 5

Chill until ready to serve.

Step 6

Stir again before serving in punch cups.

Made as written for your Wk 3 Football Pool win - Siggi's family loves all things blueberry, but sadly have no clue what eggnog is. So my plan was to chg that -- Starting w/my Siggi. That plan was a HUGE success tonight when I made this recipe for our "dessert" & he decided 1 of our weekend family brunches will be the perfect encore for your recipe. Thx for sharing it w/us. Yum!
