Berries and Balsamic
"Berries and summertime are two things that definitely go together, especially when they grow in the back yard. Toss in some gourmet vinegar, and now you've got a side dish (or a breakfast) you could proudly serve to company. But you're probably going to want it all for yourself."
- 1 quart strawberries, hulled and quartered
- 1 pint blueberries
- 1 pint raspberries
- 1 pint blackberries
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon blackberry ginger balsamic vinegar (can be found in higher-end food/gourmet stores)
What You Will Need
No special items needed.
Step 1
Lightly toss berries together in a large bowl.
Step 2
Sprinkle with sugar and vinegar and lightly toss again.
Step 3
Chill at least an hour to allow sugar to dissolve.
