Basil Tomato Mozzarella Appetizer
"My older daughterJennifer came up with this lovely appetizer due to her love of fresh mozzarella and it is very tasty. Could be used as a tasty lunch too. I like it plain but you can serve them on crackers."

This is so simple and so delicious. I used half a grape tomato on each, speared them with a toothpick. They really went over well and all disappeared. 21 May 2015 Served again for perhaps the fourth time - got raves. Love this easy MMm recipe.
- 8 ounces mozzarella cheese (fresh)
- 1 (6 ounce) tomato (whole)
- 1/2 cup fresh basil (fresh only)
- 1/4 cup balsamic salad dressing (more or less)
What You Will Need
No special items needed.
Slice a tomato in 1/4 inch slices. (Does not have to be precise), and then cut those slices into quarters.
Slice up fresh mozzarella, and then cut those slices into quarters.
Shred fresh basil leaves.
Place pieces of cheese on a serving platter.
Then top each piece of cheese with a piece of tomato.
Top each tomato piece with fresh basil.
Then drizzle baslamic salad dressing over each piece.
