"We make pasta quite a lot and this is a really nice change from a spagetti and meatball dinner, my family always eats it all up!"

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain. In a large bowl, beat the egg, milk and 1 teaspoon salt. Add spaghetti; toss to coat. Transfer and spread into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish. Cover so that pasta won't get dry.

Step 2

In a large skillet, cook the beef, sausage, onion and green pepper over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in spaghetti sauce and tomato sauce; bring to a simmere and cook uncovered for 20-25 or 30 minutes stirring quite often. Spoon over the spaghetti mixture.

Step 3

Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with the mozzarella cheese. Bake 10 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting.

well i have to say this was very good, the grandkids loved it thanks! BUT i thought i had some spaghetti as it turned out i didn't, so i used elbow macaroni and instead of the feef and pork sausage i used ground turkey. sorry had to use what i had in, the rest i made as written and will make it again, hopefully with written ingredients. we especially loved the flavour of the green pepper and the wonderful gooey mozzarella topping!!
