Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In shallow bowl, mix all dry ingredients together (salt substitute and next 9 ingredients).

Step 2

Heat large skillet with vegetable oil. Dip each chicen piece in egg then into spice mixture; coat well. Set coated chicken on a rack and allow to sit for 10 minutes.

Step 3

Add to the skillet and brown about 3 minutes per side or until lightly browned. Remove to paper toweling to drain oil.

Step 4

Place on baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes.

I made this recipe on 7/12/13 as the main part of mine and my SO's dinner.Except for not using any salt at all the recipe was made as it was written,but I did have a problem. After dipping the chicken in the egg and coating with the flour,there was still quite a bit of the breading leftover. After letting the chicken " sit " for the 10 minutes,I coated the chicken one more time in the flour mixture.Then proceeded with the rest of the recipe. We thought that the juiciness of the chicken was pretty good,but felt the seasonings fell a bit short.Thanks for taking the time to post and, "Keep Smiling :) "

wow we loved this , so easy and so easy on the waist!! wonderful seasonings, great combination of flavours, will certainly be making this often, thanks for posting, love that it is not deep fried but tastes just as good!!!
