Step by Step Method

Step 1

Arrange broken up salmon in baking dish. Season to your taste.

Step 2

Sprinkle on onion and juice. Pour over sour cream.

Step 3

Bake at 400 degrees uncovered for 20 minutes.

Step 4

Garnish. Serve with baked potatoes and buttered broccoli.

This is a case where I perhaps should have read the recipe before making it, because I had a problem in Step #2. If the salmon was to be put over the sour cream, it would have been much easier for Step #1 to first add a layer of sour cream to the baking dish. Because emptying a can of salmon, picking the bones out, and seasoning it with lemon juice and minced onions isn't easy to pick up and pour over sour cream. So I just spread a bit of sour cream on top and let it bake. But other than having to improvise halfway through, it did bake up in the time stated and was a great quick lunch this afternoon.
