Easy enough! The rice comes out flaky and perfectly cooked. I like adding herbs and changing up the flavors. Sometimes I add in veggies too. Great basic recipe with lots of variations that we enjoy quite often!

My "go to" recipe for cooking brown rice. Usually skip the salt and add the butter to the rice, then just pour boiling water from my kettle over top of the rice, then stir. Fast and easy to put together, just need time to cook it.

Great rice! I loved that it was flaky and not clumped together at all. Its now my new way to make brown rice, and I am sure it would be just as good with white rice. At serving time I added a squeeze of lemon and a light sprinkle of garlic salt. It was a very pleasing part of my meal!
