"I found the basic recipe in a magazine and "tweaked it" with green chiles to call it my own.Please feel free to adjust seasonings to your own personal tastes.If you think it might be too spicy for the " kiddos " leave out the green chilis. Posted to" ZAZZ " on August 2nd.2012"

Step by Step Method

In a 8 inch by 8 inch baking dish, combine all items.

Step 2

Bake in a 350°F oven for 30 minutes or until bubbly.

These are quite yummy! I tasted them before baking and was worried they might have too much mustard, but the flavor of the green chiles seemed to balance it out during the cooking process. I used the 6 slices of bacon and for a little extra bacon flavor I stirred in a tbsp. of bacon drippings. This made a great side for a bbq meal.

What a neat recipe - so easy and so tasty. I used honey mustard. Love the addition of green chilies. I did sub weiners for the bacon - it was whar I had on hand. I lined the serving bowls with a Naan bread to soak up the juice and they were very tasty with the beans This will be made often thanks Shapes. 3 Dec 20 Made again loved them just as much
