Delish!! DH was able to find a package of 6 drumsticks that were skinless, so this was a snap to put together and with items we always have on hand. We decided to cook these on the grill, as we have been making grilled bacon-wrapped chicken breast.... Read more
- 12 ounces chicken legs (4 legs, 3oz each)
- 250 grams bacon (8 slices)
- 1 teaspoon Montreal steak spice
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- BBQ sauce (optional)
What You Will Need
No special items needed.
Take the skin off of the drumsticks and discard.
Mix together the Montreal steak spice and garlic and rub it over the drumsticks.
Wrap two slices of bacon around each drumstick and wrap them individually and tightly with a double layer of foil.
Place these on a baking sheet and cook in a pre-heated 425 degree Fahrenheit oven for 30 minutes turning them half way through.
Carefully unwrap the chicken, if you want the bacon crispier you can place them under the broiler for a couple of minutes until as crispy as you like.
If using BBQ sauce, brush the drumsticks with it.
