Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 220˚C/200˚C fan-forced. Grease and line 3 large baking trays with baking paper. Place drained pineapple on a plate that has been lined with paper towel to remove any excess juice.
Step 2
Place 1 pastry sheet on a flat surface. Spread pastry evenly with half the pizza sauce, leaving a 1cm border along 1 side, top with half the ham, pineapple and cheese. Starting from the edge opposite the border, roll up pastry firmly to enclose filling. (Like a jam roll)
Step 3
Using a serrated knife, cut into 1.5cm-thick slices. Place the slices, cut-side down and about 4cm apart, onto the prepared tray. Repeat with remaining pastry, pizza sauce, ham, pineapple and cheese.
Step 4
Bake these for 15-20 minutes (or until golden brown), swapping the position of the trays half way through the cooking.
Step 5
When ready to serve garnish with chopped chives or spring onions.(Optional)
