Step by Step Method
Step 1
To prepare the Fragrant Lemon Dressing, use a whisk or fork, to combine olive oil, garlic, honey, lemon rind and juice and pepper in a small bowl. Set aside (if not using at once store in the refrigerator).
Step 2
Cook the asparagus by steaming 4-5 minutes or until just tender. (Or cook the asparagus your preferred way until just tender.)
Step 3
Arrange freshly cooked asparagus on a large serving platter or individual serving plates.
Step 4
Drizzle dressing over, dust with coarsely ground black pepper and serve hot, warm or cold.
Step 5
Top with some grated or shave parmesan before serving if desired.
