"This is based on a recipe from F.com, but I've doubled the amount of asparagus, changed the type of pasta, and tweaked it to suit our taste. It makes a fabulous side dish for a crowd, or a nice main dish. I've occasionally added cubed ham for a more complete one-dish meal. Servings are calculated on using it as a side dish."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Bring two large pots of lightly salted water to a boil.

Step 2

To one pot, add pasta and cook 10 minutes or until desired tenderness.

Step 3

To second pot, add asparagus pieces and cook 8-10 minutes or until tender.

Step 4

Drain asparagus and pasta into separate colanders; melt butter in one of the pans.

Step 5

Add asparagus, seasoned salt, pepper and dill to melted butter; cook, stirring frequently, 5 minutes.

Step 6

Pour asparagus mixture over pasta and mix well to combine.

Step 7

Serve sprinkled with shredded or grated Parmesan.

This was okay but the asparagus was way to soggy afetr cooking it for 6 minutes and it is too heavy, too much butter.
