Step by Step Method

Step 1

Whisk together the ginger ale, soy sauce, rice vinegar, corn starch, fish sauce, ground ginger and garlic powder until cornstarch is all dissolved.

Step 2

Pour into a casserole dish big enough to lay the fish filets in.

Step 3

Lay the fillets into the sauce and flip them over to coat.

Step 4

Bake in a preheated 425 degree Fahrenheit oven until just cooked. This will depend on thickness of fillets.

Step 5

I enjoyed this dish...but the hubby didn't care for the flavors...it was very easy to prepare...made for "For Your Consideration" tag game.

These were pretty good and different from our usual way of serving fish. Used rockfish but I think another type of fish may have been a better choice. Thanks for sharing!

I have been trying to eat more fish and this looked too good to pass up, since I am a huge Asian food fan. It was so delicious! I used filet of sole and they were thin, so it didn't take any time at all to cook. Such a great recipe Bea! Thank you for sharing it with all of us! Linda

Lovely flavour with a touch of the orient. I used red snapper but I would love to make this recipe with Tilapia. Into my fish & seafood recipe book it goes. Thanks Bea for another tasty dinner.
