Made for the DH for his smoko (morning and afternoon tea breaks) and he very much enjoyed the filling but felt the pastry was too thin and a little tough, that may have been my fault it being tough as I left it in the fridge longer than I should have and it was very hard to roll, he has requested I make it again but in a small slice pan so the pastry will be thicker. I got 15 good size squares out of it.

These are wonderful, especially topped with vanilla ice cream. Made as directed using a combination of apples (granny smith and gala) for a wonderful dessert that we all enjoyed. Thanks for sharing!
