February 20, 2015

"This is a hit at every party where I serve it. It's really simple and all of it can be made ahead of time. I usually add everything to a large ziploc bag and store in the refrigerator until serving time. One of the ingredients that I always add is gardinere, because it adds a lot to the taste and texture. The leftovers are really good mixed in a salad too. From Prego Easy Italian Recipes."

I made this using all the listed ingredients except for the Giardiniera, I used mixed pickled vegetables in lieu of this which worked perfectly. I only marinated the peppers, olives, cheese, mushrooms and tomatoes and left the other items as is. I served this up to a bunch of guys for Superbowl Sunday and it was the first thing to be devoured!!! This will be made often here, perfect guest worthy snack.
