Step by Step Method

Step 1

Clean squid.

Step 2

Chop tomatoes.

Step 3

Crush garlic.

Step 4

Slice onion.

Step 5

Combine water, vinegar, pepper, sugar, salt, bay leaf and half of the garlic.

Step 6

Marinate squid in this mixture for 1 hour.

Step 7

Drain squid, keeping the marinade.

Step 8

In pan, saute onion, remaining garlic and tomato in the oil.

Step 9

Add drained squid. Saute until juice evaporates, about 10 minutes.

Step 10

Strain marinade. Add to squid mixture. Simmer 15 minutes.
