"From one of my favourite chefs James Reeson of Alive and Cooking. Serve with a spicy curry and pappadums. Serving size and cooking times are estimated - well there is no cooking time it is all prep. The idea of the food processor/blender is my own and I can't see why it wouldn't work. Choose a hot paprika if you want bite or a sweet paprika if you prefer the sweet taste, or if you wish to take the middle line a mild paprika."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Place peeled banana and avocado flesh into a mortar and pestle (think a blender or food processor would work too), lightly mash together (if using a blender/food processor just pulse till lightly blended).

Step 2

Into a bowl finely grate garlic and then the cucumber and then add both, with juices to the banana avocado mix and then add paprika and yoghurt and mix well. (Pulse blend till mixed in food processor/blender).

Step 3

Serve as a side with a curry and pappadums.
