Cottage Ham with Veggies

Post by Bergy » Tue Apr 18, 2017 12:05 pm

Cottage hams are not all that easy to find. I enjoy a lovely boiled ham and then, if it isn't too salty use the broth for soup. Be sure to watch that your veggies don't over cook.

A boneless, smoked, cut of pork from the shoulder area of the hog. Usually cooked together with potatoes and green beans and served sliced with mustard if preferred. Also good, hot or cold on a sandwich with either mustard or ketchup
