What is the best way to store it without it hardening? I bought a large bag at Sams Club.

Put it in an airtight container and add a marshmallow in with it. The moisture in the marshmallow will keep it soft.

Well I'll be....... I must try that

I have a piece of terra cotta that I keep wet in the same container I keep the brown sugar and it works well.

I keep mine in a ziplock bag and it is fine. Just squeeze out all the air before you zip it.

I haven't tried it, but heard of the marshmellow trick. I just use a ziplock, but, really NO air in it. I will try the MM trick - cool.

that's what I do also, plastic bag zipped up tight works great, keeps the sugar soft :)
If you can eat, you can make it!

When mine does harden, I just add a piece of bread to the bag and voila, it is soft by the next day.

Thanks everyone! I apologize for the delay in responding a lot has been happening lately. I will try the marshmellows. Living in East Texas we always have humidity!!!!! Right now it is raining constantly, not to complain because I know other regions are suffering.
