too many cranberries
Post
by Pixie » Thu Dec 18, 2014 12:52 pm
Costco had this huge bag of cranberries on sale so I bought it, then I found my freezer has a smaller frozen bag...
What to do? Recipes that aren't sweets?
Help!

You could make some orange-cranberry scones (sorry, no recipe) or some cranberry nut bread (you know, like a quick bread like banana bread type thing). Or make a cranberry sauce to put over a pork roast or ham. Or maybe a mayo-cranberry mixture for turkey sandwiches.

Hi Pixi, they freeze well, so just pop the extra in the freezer. I always keep a couple of bags on hand - we like homemade cranberry sauce - cranberries are not always available unless I keep extra on hand:)
