Now, I have 3 expensive Mikasa sets. One I want to keep; and, one every day that I love. Then, I have Xmas too. So, something has got to go. But, I would like a set of white, maybe just 4 for me; and not expensive - something that if it breaks, it's ok.
Found these online at Walmart - Service for 6, 5 piece set. Sort of squarish design. Looked decent. I also needed 2 new hoses, and a blanket which was out of stock at my store. So online I went.
Had a FREE shipping if $100 or more. Also, a $20 coupon from the store which I could use online; and, a first online user $10 off. A pretty good deal if I do say so myself.
They are a bit smaller being square in design; but ... I think we all pile on way too much food anyways. I was very pleased for $20. The soup bowls, a bit shallow, but ... I don't care. And, 1 tiny chip on a plate, which you really have to look close to see. For every day, cheap dishes - I was pleased. Especially since I eat outside so much.
And have you noticed that there is not a "contact" button. So you can not go and complain! ERG! But I still persevere.
