was told 45-55 winds with gusts of 75 not sure where that was but not here, pattie do you have a cobbler? I think I like cobblers better anyway not so sure about pie crusts. want to stay away mostly from wheat. cobblers are easy to convert to non -wheat even if have originally

Judy...I do not have any cobbler recipes posted. But a quick search on google brought up gluten free cobblers. There were a few there that looked really good.

How many jars of chutney did you get Pia? Are you coming near to the end of the peaches? Hope you like the pie!

Have glorious day! :D

This is the cobbler recipe I use:

Patti, I have 6 jars of chutney, 5 jars of peach jam, 2 of peach jelly, 3 of jalapeño peach jelly. (so far). I'm making a batch of diet peach jam for my step mother, I'm guessing 4 or 5 jars.
Can I can the peach salsa that you mention the other day?

Oh my word Pia...your cobbler is absolutely gorgeous! =P~ :D Would love to have a spoonful in my gob right about now! Thank you for sharing! Will be copying your recipe into my Living Cookbook if you don't mind. You have been one busy lady! AND...you will be eating a touch of summer this winter! Lucky you! :D

Peach Salsa

4 - 5 peaches (washed, peeled & diced)
1 bunch of cilantro chopped
1/2 red onion diced
1 small jalapeño, diced
Juice from one lime
Salt to taste
Pinch of Sugar

MIX IT ALL UP! That’s it...enjoy!

Hope you have another great day! :D

Good morning.

I sure hope I'm not still here in the winter Patti.
That recipe is from a Land O'Lakes cookbook. Do you have that brand of butter in Canada?
It is not a fancy cookbook, but every single recipe I've made from that book was fantastic.
I bought it when Nikky was born (23 years ago).

blustery, windy day so far. clicks are in

am going to buy a 6 slot muffin tin to make egg muffins, but will not be going til end of next week to grocery store. any ideas of good combos for the filling? need to incorporate more protein in diet as eat to much sweets and protein curbs that.

Judy...you can add meats (bacon, ham, chicken/turkey etc); dairy (cottage cheese, greek yogurt); Nuts & Seeds (peanuts, almonds, pistachios, cashews; pumpkin, sunflower, flax & chia seeds); Fish (Salmon, Tuna, Shrimp & all fish); Veggies (broccoli, brussels sprouts) and things like quinoa.

All these pack alot of protein. Hope this helps! ;)

I clicked yesterday and forgot to post here! Silly me!

We have had some wind and warmer temps here.

Have a glorious Sunday! :D

Good morning.
Clicks are in.
Those are all wonderful suggestions Patti.
I was just on this very low carb diet, when I went to the doctor for my annual check up and my cholesterol came up a little high. :? First time in my life. It has always been low. I wonder if the diet had something to do with it?
Now back on my normal every day style of eating. I'm checking my cholesterol again in a month.
