That is so beautiful to watch - I love the conversation between Mom Eagle & Chick - watching her feeding the new born is something else. I honestly could sit and watch it all day.

It really is fascinating to watch! I see there in another egg and wondered about the chances of a another baby. That had me needing to do a Bald Eagle search. Find it may or may not. Much to my surprise found we do have Bald Eagles here in Saskatchewan! Back in 2015 dozens were spotted in our Qu Appelle Valley and hear a number of them have been spotted locally as well.

eggs were laid 3 days apart so the chances of another peep is good even though this mating pair lost both chicks last year.

Checked in and found Mama Eagle was busy sitting on her nest I was uncertain as to what was happening, good thing I checked comments and found a photo of the two babies and a fish in the nest! The babies look very healthy!

The fish surprised me as well as saw me needing more information regarding nestlings. I found this link answered all my questions, it's informative and a good read for anyone not that familiar with Bald Eagles.
