This weather is getting really old. My attempt at growing perennials has gone down the tubes. Even though I have soaker hoses, the scorching heat is wilting them daily...they can't take the stress.

I can't imagine anything growing in that heat except cactus plants Dee that is just sweltering heat

Yep Kitten, even the trees in our forest are shedding leaves due to lack of water.

geez Dee it hit 90 here and everyone was complaining about the extreme heat I know that Loisianna gets the heat plus humidity which makes it really bad

Now, I'm not saying it isn't hotter in other places. But what I am saying is that I, the ultimate hater of all things cold, am finding it just too dang hot! They took away our 88s and turned them into 92s and 93s, and I don't like it.
