I'm fully recovered from gall bladder surgery with no adverse aftereffects.
The weather here has been beautiful, though a little dry.

Deely not much new. It's finally getting warm enough in Colorado to start cleaning out my gardens. I actually got to wear shorts today!

Donna, I finally got to visit Colorado two years ago- It's so beautiful! What area do you live in?
Deely, I'm still in Raleigh. We've been having a ton of rain here lately. How's the weather in La?

Kizzi I live in an uncorporated area called Black Forest, just north of Colorado
Springs. It's very rural here (dirt roads) but very beautiful. We live on five acres with a beautiful pond, the bullfrogs are already croaking. We have foxes, coyotes, deer running around. And the mallards have arrived on the pond. Every year we get baby ducks. Really beautiful, but the growing season is only from June through August. I have even seen snow in June.

Donna, I've been there, done that and I sure don't miss the short growing season or the cold weather. I think it has something to do with age.
I have flowers, shrubs, tomatoes and herbs growing. What's in your garden?
